Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore, is an amazing Hollywood actress and author Her talents have won the attention of critics and acclaim. Sagittarius. Born in North Carolina, on 3rd December, 1960. She's among the three youngest children of Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a paratrooper. Her heritage is English-Scottish. Moore had a difficult time as her family was constantly moving due to her dad's job. Moore was a student at Frankfurt American High School in Germany at the time her parents relocated to America. Then she began to perform on stage. When she completed her B.F.A. from Boston University in 1983, Moore continued her studies. In 1983 she graduated with the degree of B.F.A. Moore started her acting career off-Broadway and in New York, after she completed her degree. Moore first appeared on the episode The Edge of Night, which was telecast on the network in 1985. In 1986 she was cast in two characters of Sabrina Hughes, and Frannie Hughes on the show As the World Spins. This role gave her the opportunity to break through and led to her success. It ran through 1988 and won the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990 she made her cinematic debut in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie which she later described as a terrible low-budget film. Short Cuts (1993), 3 Women (1997), as well as 3 Women (1997), were both directed with Robert Altman. Her performance in the critically-acclaimed Short Cuts (1993) earned her several nominations. Moore was first cast as a lead on the screen in Safe (1996). Steven Spielberg chose Moore to portray the role of the protagonist in Jurassic Park: The Lost World.
