Rena Sofer

  Rena Sherel was born on December 2nd, 1968 was an American actress. She is best known for her performances on the daytime network, as well as episodic guest appearances, and made-for-television films. Sofer won a Daytime Emmy Award 1995 for her performance in the role of Lois Cerullo of the soap drama General Hospital. From 2013 until 2022, she played the character of Quinn Fuller on the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful.





 Childhood and early life



 Sofer was the daughter Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) and an Orthodox rabbi and Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau).





 She and her brother moved with David and her father to Teaneck (New Jersey) in the year 1970. They resided in Western Pennsylvania when Sofer was five years old. Their family lived in Ambridge Pennsylvania where their father was director of Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She later attended the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, which is a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer was born in North Bergen, New Jersey. Her father was a rabbi of Temple Beth El. After having graduated from North Bergen High School she attended Montclair State College.





 Career



 Daytime television



 Lois Marie Cerullo was Lois Marie Sofer's first character in General Hospital. Her first appearance came in 1993 as a manager for a band. Her first television role was in the role of Rocky McKenzie, a daytime soap drama about Loving (1988-91).
